Abstract
This whitepaper examines a core assumption of modern civilisation: that wealth, capital accumulation, and technological investment are sufficient to solve humanity’s greatest problems. Through a systems analysis approach, the report demonstrates that many emerging 21st-century challenges are not capital problems but coordination, governance, complexity, trust, legitimacy, and meaning problems. These problems cannot be solved solely through money. Instead, they require new institutional designs, ethical frameworks, decentralised infrastructures, and human-centred systems.
The paper identifies major problem domains (2026–2036 horizon), analyses their structural causes, explains why wealth fails as a solution mechanism, and proposes integrated, realistic solution architectures.
